2004 Will Be The Year Of The Canadian Underdog

Uncategorized Comments (0)

The members of the Canadian Democratic Movement would like to thank all those who have been a part of our continued growth and expanding influence in 2003.  We could not have grown like we have without the support of our members, immediate work team, our partner organizations and you, the Canadian public.

The Canadian Democratic Movement, and our partners Vive le Canada and UberCulture, will continue to forge ahead and fill the void left vacant by the corporate media.  As the Paul Martin government continues its tearing down of Canadian culture and society in the name of the almighty dollar – and soon to be the US dollar – Vive le Canada, UberCulture, and the CDM will be there to counter their influence with cutting truth and foresight.

We are entering the make it or break it year for Canada.  Our very nation stands in the balance. We can continue down the road the minority elitists have chosen for us, or we can forge ahead with a new path.  It will be a course chosen by the majority for the benefit of the majority.  We should demand and see no less.

The CDM will be there, hand in hand with Vive and UberCulture on the side of Canadians from coast to coast.  2003 was the starting point of the reclamation of our nation.  We will continue to join into partnerships to advance our collective cause and voice.

Fellow Canadians we are on the cusp of a new Canadian renaissance.  We are the majority, and with that we will press our own agenda for our own betterment and for the benefit of all Canadians coast to coast.  No longer will the tiny minority dictate the future of Canada, as those days are quickly coming to an end.

Some of the things we are working on for 2004 include:
· Growing the CDM organization, including officially incorporating as a non-profit.

· Continuing to forge alliances and partnerships with like-minded groups.

· Maintaining pressure on the left of the political spectrum to put aside their differences and to speak with a unified voice.

· Bringing on more columnists and writers.

· More e-politics and campaigns.

· Increasing our street level activities and participation.

With a Federal Election looming on the near horizon we will be very busy.  That is where you come in.  We are always on the lookout for volunteers for all positions. There is room for more writers and researchers and people of technical skill.  While we are based out of Greater Vancouver, we need people from all nooks and crannies of this wonderful nation.  No level of participation is too small.  From commenting on articles to submitting materials, your continued help is valued and appreciated.

Way to go CDM Team!  There is no stopping us now.  2004 is our year; let us make the most of it!
