Canadian Health Care Myths

Uncategorized Comments (0)

Health care in Canada is always been and always will be a hot button topic.  From each side of the debate is 'facts' and assumptions on how best to deliver health care services to Canadians.

As of late there has been much talk of private for profit providers moving into the market to help with the burden that the public system is said to be under.  Much of this talk comes from supporters of the Conservative Party and from the rightwing lead Provinces of Alberta and British Columbia.  on the other side of the issue is the NDP and some members of the Liberal party coming out in support of a public only dominated system.

When Paul Martin decides to call an election this year, health care is sure to be a concern at the top of most Canadians lists.

To help Canadians with this heavy decision we have chosen works from each side of the issue.  Please browse over each side and formulate your own opinions.  The health of our health care system hangs in the balance.

The entire question as related to health care will be part of a package we are forwarding to all of the Canadian political parties in advance of the 2004 elections.  We will publish all responses in full once we have heard back from a majority of the concerned parties.

Stay tuned…
